2021 Ryder Cup schedule, TV coverage, live stream, watch online, channel, streaming free, dates, times

The 2020 Ryder Cup — being played in 2021 — is two days deep in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, as the United States looks to bounce back from a tough defeat a few years ago. The Americans are aiming to win their second straight Ryder Cup on their home soil, though Team USA is just 2-7 in this international event since the start of the century and lost the 2018 event despite being massive favorites going into Paris.

The U.S. has been focused on a youth movement, while the European side brought tremendous experience into Whistling Straits. Without familiar faces like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson teeing it up for the Americans, the onus has been on the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and others to combat Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and an exceptionally strong visiting team. And the U.S. has delivered.

The United States took a commanding 11-5 lead after Saturday action. It won the first three sessions of the Ryder Cup 3-1 each before splitting Saturday afternoon four-ball with Europe 2-2. Johnson is 4-0 for the Americans, while Rahm is 3-0-1 for Europe. Both are putting on MVP-caliber performances, though D.J. is the one who will receive those honors if everything trends as it should Sunday.

Deciding the Ryder Cup with singles action on Sunday may only be academic as the Americans only need 14.5 points to hoist the trophy in Wisconsin. That means the U.S. only needs to win three and split one of the 12 singles matches. Given that the Americans are favored in 11 of them going in, they are a -5000 favorite to take the trophy, according to Caesars Sportsbook.
