Arrest Warrant Formally Issued For Gabby Petito’s Fiancé Brian Laundrie In Connection To Her Death

Roommates, following intense speculation that he was involved in her murder, authorities have officially issued an arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie, Gabby Petito’s fiancé. Brian’s arrest warrant comes only a few days after it was determined Gabby Petito died by homicide following her remains being found.

Brian Laundrie is charged with one count of use of unauthorized access devices due to his use of Gabby’s Capital One debit card. The U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued the federal arrest warrant confirmed via a statement from the FBI division in Denver, Colorado.

As the FBI continues to ask the public to come forward with any information regarding Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts, FBI Denver Special Agent Michael Schneider briefly spoke about this latest development in the case.

“While this warrant allows law enforcement to arrest Mr. Laundrie, the FBI and our partners across the country continue to investigate the facts and circumstances of Ms. Petito’s homicide,” he said.

As we previously reported, Brian Laundrie was officially named a person of interest by police earlier this month. He was reportedly uncooperative with police when they attempted to question him, leading many to zero in on him as the main suspect in Gabby’s murder.

He has been missing since September 17th, as his family told police they had not seen him since September 14th when he allegedly informed them that he was on his way to the Carlton Reserve north of his home in North Port, Florida.
