Malik Beasley Starts His 120-Day Jail Sentence For Gun Case (Update) – The Shade Room

Now that his NBA season is over, it looks like Malik Beasley has started off his downtime by serving the 120-day jail sentence he was ordered to serve earlier this year.

According to TMZ, officials confirmed that he was booked into Wright County Jail in Minnesota on Tuesday. As previously reported, he was ordered to serve time behind bars after he pulled an assault rifle out on a family that was near the end of his driveway last September.

He was originally hit with two charges, felony threats of violence and felony drug possession. However, the drug charge was dropped after he pled guilty to the threats charge. He was originally set to start his sentence on May 26th, however, an official says it was pushed back to June 1st.

As previously reported, Malik pulled a gun out on a family that was inside of a car that was near the end of his driveway. Prosecutors say Beasley’s home was accidentally placed on a “Parade of Homes” list last fall, which is a guide for tourists as they ride around and look at the extravagant homes in the area.

When the family arrived at the end of his driveway he walked towards the car with his gun and told the family to move.

He was arrested and charged with felony threats of violence and received the drug charge because he had marijuana on him at the time of the arrest.

Prior to starting his jail sentence, Malik took to social media to publicly apologize to his estranged wife Montana Yao after he initially made headlines for dating Larsa Pippen while they were still together in their marriage. That later turned to Larsa and Montana calling each other out on .
